Chapter 555: Merging the universes, the nebula race and the remains of tian yuan
Grey let Jasmine demonstrate the improved framework of the HexCore.
Isabelle and Anthony were equally stunned, especially Anthony, who was a sixth ranker.
Jasmine was only a fifth ranker at her peak, but now she was effortlessly displaying powers of the sixth rank, first level.
It had to be mentioned that Jasmine rarely tried to make progress in her own evolution. Always focused on her work, everyone else around her had already surpassed her in raw power. She had been hyper-focused on sending out that dimensional message. But everyone knew that if she were to actually get serious, she would without a doubt surpass them all.
"So powerful," Anthony commented in awe. "Is this the improved HexCore?"
At the same time, Grey got curious. Was Jasmine’s power to steal from her future selves unlimited?
He decided to ask Jasmine directly through telepathy.
’It is not unlimited. There are conditions to be met, a strict limit to how far I can go, and a cooldown period.’
"Oh." Grey nodded.
That made sense. Since she had already fully awakened her physique, would directly reaching a high enough rank not be the best course of action otherwise?
"Fine," Anthony then spoke up, breaking the silence. "We are willing to merge with the other universe."
"Perfect." Grey grinned.
"In that case, everyone in this world will now need to start following the Aether evolutionary path."
Grey transferred the important path details directly to Anthony. Then, with Jasmine in tow, he left the planet using his Dragon Monarch spaceship.
He did not really need the ship, but it was much faster than his own base travel speed.
They swiftly reached the neighboring galaxy. There was a massive civilization here.
"Aside from the humans, the rest of the galaxies in this universe are filled with the Nebula Race," Jasmine explained. "They are a highly advanced race, but they do not have any evolutionary paths. They just possess technology powerful enough to contend against a normal seventh ranker."
"Hm." Grey was thoughtful.
He had already sensed a massive array of information networks covering this part of the galaxy, and it was actively connected to the other galaxies as well.
They were frantically communicating with each other upon seeing the gigantic Dragon Monarch spaceship enter their territory.
It was not long before a colossal beam of concentrated light pierced through the center of the galaxy, aiming straight for the ship. However, before the destructive energy could touch the hull, the ship turned completely invisible, and the beam passed right through it harmlessly.
Seeing this, Grey smiled.
He stepped out of the spaceship and began transforming into his true dragon form.
Now that he possessed the combat score of the seventh rank, his dragon form was unimaginably huge, covering an entire galaxy in an instant.
"Folks of the Nebula Race. I am, uh... yeah, Grey Lockhart. So, I am kind of here to inform you all that this universe will be merging with another universe which I own. If you do not cooperate, my people will make you cooperate."
"That is all."
After that little display of cosmic power, Grey did not linger around. He would let the Army of Origin deal with them in case something went wrong.
That was because there was something Grey wanted to make absolutely sure of.
Was there an altar of Tian Yuan’s in this world? It was not in NeoStar, nor the galaxies immediately around them.
Hence, the next logical course of action was searching for it at the absolute edge of the universe. He was certain that Tian Yuan had left something here.
And he hit the nail right on the head. After a few hours of searching the cosmic borders, Grey caught onto a hidden frequency. It was an isolated, floating space at the very edge of the universe.
Without hesitation, Grey went in with Jasmine.
There it was: a huge stone pillar, remarkably similar to the one that was once hidden inside the Azure Origin Planet.
However, unlike before, there was nothing written on it.
Grey, without any hesitation, shattered the pillar. Immediately, a violent spatial gateway tore open. It was a gateway leading straight to the raw chaos outside.
This chaos outside was the exact same force that had previously granted him the epiphany to comprehend the Myriad Law of Chaos. But this time, he only looked at the swirling void silently before leaving the floating space with Jasmine.
With Tian Yuan’s lingering influence completely erased, it was time for a full merger!
He went back to the Azure Origin Planet and asked the Origin Will to initiate the merge.
Grey positioned himself in the exact middle of the two worlds and began regulating the cosmic merger.
This merge would not destroy anything; it would only increase the physical size of the realm and drastically boost the power of the Origin Will of the Azure Origin Universe.
Everything began to collapse and gracefully reform. The fundamental laws of this universe began to shift and merge as one seamless reality.
Within minutes, the lesser universe was entirely devoured, and the Origin Will gained a massive surge in power.
Immediately, the Army of Origin was dispatched to deal with the integration of the Nebula Race, and Grey went to meet the Origin Will.
"How long until we can reach the eighth plane of existence?" Grey asked.
"We need a bit more energy to ascend," the Origin Will said with a thoughtful look on her small face.
"One more universe, I take it?" Grey asked.
The Origin Will nodded.
If it was just one more, then he did not have to donate his World Breaking Source Power, because it would naturally work out either way. And once it did, this universe would be almost on the level of the main universe. Well, the main world was technically a tenth plane, but it currently only housed eighth rankers. Higher level beings had already ascended to a higher plane of existence to evolve faster without restrictions.
With that done, it was finally time to leave.
They could come back here at any time. It would take less than a minute utilizing the World Tree’s anchor, and this time, Jasmine was also coming with them.
He needed to work towards reaching the sixth rank. That was his primary goal right now. Things were moving incredibly fast, and he could not afford to lag behind. Before he did anything else, he would first secure his advancement to the sixth rank the moment he returned to the main world.
